About me
Growing up with a dad that got to experience the 90'S JDM car culture back in Okinawa, Japan cars were always in my life. From going to car events, buying hot wheels, and playing gran turismo there was never a dull moment. I started my journey in 2021 and moved out to Charleston, South Carolina to pursue this dream that is called Toyama's Garage. I believe that one should always pursue their dreams and never give up on them, you'd be amazed of what one can accomplish with hard work, dedication, and consistency. Nothing in life is granted nor Given everything is earned along the journey.

Why Toyama's Garage?
June 2021, Is when the dream started. I wanted a way to show the world my passion for the car culture, and find a way to incorporate fashion all while keeping it simple. The whole idea came to my mind when i purchased my first project car which was a 2007 Subaru wrx that had spun a rod and blown up. I was working a regular job and scraped up most of what i could earn and then began the process of rebuilding it and along the way the idea that is now a reality called Toyama's Garage came to life.

About Me
I always ask myself why an inanimate object has such an impact on my life. I’ve always been passionate about cars since I can remember, but I think the culture is what pulled me in. We’ve all been hit with the same roadblock at a certain point in time, but the community is what helped us get back on the road, whether that be forums or getting on Reddit at 2 a.m. while ripping your hair out. We’re all a team without even knowing it. My vision is simple: we strive to provide for the community and return all the help we have received on our voyage to where we are now.
